Situation
A large pediatric health care system in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Metroplex had spent the previous ten years
building and operationalizing an integrated health care delivery system. The business, comprised of six companies including a medical center, physician network, home health company, health plan and
foundation, was ready to look to the future.
Approach
Recognizing the need to develop a new vision for the organization and a strategic plan for leveraging the
integrated delivery system, the System’s top executives hired Yaffe/Deutser to conduct exhaustive research in the organizational, transactional and environmental spaces. Further, Yaffe/Deutser was hired to facilitate strategic planning for the enterprise and its subsidiaries.
Having completed the initial effort, Yaffe/Deutser was engaged to create a plan for implementation, launch the new vision and strategic imperatives, develop the System’s marketing and planning functions, align the organization’s human capital management efforts, define brand standards, implement brand management tools, create marketing and communication campaigns and improve payor mix.
