Five Yaffe Web Videos Win Awards

When the 2008 Telly Awards were announced recently, The Yaffe Group hauled in a total six statues. Five of those Telly Awards were for web videos Yaffe produced for four different clients. The other was for a public service TV spot produced for local Detroit charity, Forgotten Harvest. The web videos were key components of the new digital marketing tool used by Yaffe Direct, called Advercasts. The award winning videos were the “Cinco de Mayo Advercast Video” for The RoomPlace, “Spring Fashion Advercast Video” for Grand Home Furnishings, “Memorial Day Advercast Video” for Kane’s Furniture, “4th of July Advercast Video” for The RoomPlace and “American Leather Advercast Video” for Robb & Stucky. The award-winning PSA for Forgotten Harvest was called “Oranges.” It was created and produced pro bono by The Yaffe Group and Dark Spark Productions. This was the 29th annual Telly Awards, which is the premier award honoring outstanding local and regional TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. They receive over 14,000 entries from all 50 states and many foreign countries. Recently, they added a web video category.
